Description
-
Also known as 'Guardian of the plantain', the calm serene face of the serpent in the 'Protector of the crops' is similar to the face of the lamb being protected by the 'Protector of the flocks of sheep'.
-
Object Notes
-
The spirit is holding the serpent with its left hand as a threat to anyone attempting to trespass.
The coiled serpent (viper) is held by the spirit, but the face of the serpent is seemingly serene.
The spirit appears to hold a plantain between its feet.
